Introduction
BIG MAMMA’S PUNCTURE MIX (Big Mamma’s) is a brand new concept in puncture prevention aimed primarily at the informal passenger vehicle market. Big Mamma’s is a preventative tyre protection system introduced to effectively seal punctures caused by nails while the vehicle is in motion. The installation process is extremely simple: deflate the tyre, install Big Mamma’s by filling the supplied pump with Big Mamma’s, sealing it and applying using compressed air. Re-inflate the tyre to the recommended pressure. The retail pricing is extremely cost effective and the retail price of an entire motor vehicle starts at R180.00.

Business Model
Big Mamma’s will be distributed in South Africa and Africa through a network of distributors who effectively purchase the right to a demarcated area and sell Big Mamma’s to the thousands of informal tyre businesses located on the road-side or informal settlements. Big Mamma’s will not be available through main stream tyre franchises that dominate the formal tyre market.

All the required marketing material, product, installation equipment and know-how will be supplied by Big Mamma’s. The distributors’ role is to market Big Mamma’s in their area of distribution effectively, and in doing so he will earn a gross profit of between 26-43% depending on the sales model he chooses to adopt. The role of the distributor is to maintain an effective supply chain thereby earning a substantial return on his investment.

The areas available for sale have been defined by the Municipal boundaries, with 52 areas available within South Africa. Each area will require an investment of R40,000.00 by the distributor. Sufficient product, installation equipment and marketing material is included in the price and the investment will be returned on the sale of the initial product supplied. Further purchases will be made from Big Mamma’s and sufficient marketing material will be supplied with all future product purchased. From a relatively low sales base, the distributor should make a profit in excess of R16,000.00 per month, with the possibility of earning over R100,000.00 per month!

On making the initial investment to acquire your area of Distribution you will receive the following items:

16x empty 25-litre drums and caps
16x Big Mamma’s drum labels
1000 promotional pamphlets
Training to bottle, sell and install Big Mamma’s which shall be done at the Head Office in Pretoria
16x Big Mamma’s installation pumps
A drum stand and re-useable tap
A website listing of your area on the Big Mamma’s website
Big Mamma’s business Cards
Big Mamma’s letterhead in electronic format
Big Mamma’s e-mail address

With each additional 200-litre drum of Big Mamma’s purchased in addition to the Puncture Mix you will also receive the following:

8 Big Mamma’s labels
Marketing material to the value of R800.00 which shall vary from time to time
3 installation pumps
The Distributor shall also be permitted to sell Big Mamma’s directly to the public which they will be able to install in the comfort of their own garage or workshop. Big Mamma’s will be packaged by the Distributor in either 5-or 25- litre drums. Such sales shall return a gross profit of in excess of 55%.

Relationship between Big Mamma’s and the Distributor
A formal contract will be entered into between each distributor and Big Mamma’s clearly setting out each party’s role and responsibilities.
